Steel Your Art Away

Miles had never worked with metal before joining Janet at Steel Your Art Away.  However, he has discovered that he had some transferable skills from his days as a Journeyman Carpenter.

 

He started his new career building stands for various pieces of Janet's artistic creations.  While he often comes up with his own original designs, he does team up with Janet to design and create some of the newer pieces.

Miles has also designed and built some equipment that makes the shop more efficient and functional.  Some examples would include the rack for storing sheet metal, racks for bar/rod stock, an articulating plasma cutting table, the welding table and steel stands and racks for other portable equipment.
